The ABC's Hungry Beast program recently featured debate over the Federal Government's $440 million school chaplaincy.
While there was some voices in defence of the program, such as Scripture Union's Tim Mander and Education Minister Peter Garrett, the 'no's' definitely held sway both in terms of quantity of video content and in the website write-up below.
A key point was that more psychologists and counsellors were needed in schools, rather than chaplains. However as Tim Mander argued, the two aren't mutually exclusive.
